an update of sorts

This awesome item on eBay caught my eye. If the bids stay low, I may just be in possession of my second vinyl: a single limited release of Arcade Fire’s Rebellion (Lies) with original art and a B side live version. AND it’s a kick-ass white.

With dual Wilco shows under the belt, it’s on to the Franz Ferdinand and Death Cab for Cutie show at Duke. More mainstream than my taste usually allows, but good music is good music.

I Bet You Look Good...

Getting on the bandwagon for a good reason.

Sidenote (I have never met Napoleon, but I plan to find the time)

The concessions of our humanity and failures of endurance limit our capacity of humans. The scale of personal measure is very a narrow scope in the grand scheme of things, only doubling or halving almost any of our strengths or weaknesses. As such our existence is predefined as futile and our meaning must come from within, since no answers lie outside of our personal perception.
